For over 100 years, we at KARL KLINK have relied on experience, precision and craftsmanship. KARL KLINK founded the company in Pforzheim in 1900 and, even then, local industry appreciated the quality and precision of our work.

In 1920, KARL KLINK developed a revolutionary tool that changed metalworking forever: the broaching process. This process took various industries by storm due to its cost-effectiveness. Initially, simple presses were used, but then KARL KLINK began building special broaching machines in 1939, which opened up new areas of application for broaching. This step laid the foundation for our growing company, which today manufactures broaching machines and tools, and sets standards in industrial manufacturing worldwide.

Since the 1980s, we have repeatedly introduced new broaching technologies such as CNC helical broaching, hard broaching and dry broaching.

Our customers rely on our expertise, and many of them have been working with us in partnership for many years. Our customers include the automotive and components industry, agricultural machinery technology, mechanical engineering and many other sectors.

In 2006, we expanded our range of services through the acquisition of RASTER® Technology, since when we have also offered automatic punching and forming machines. RASTER® Technology was founded in 1930 and is known for machines in the press force range up to 4000 kN with innovative automation solutions.

Our subsidiary SOB is based in France (since 1971). Here, too, we manufacture a wide range of broaching tools. We also have local representatives in countries such as China, Spain, Sweden and others.
